Local Community Networks (LCNs) are a new concept for the Somerset Council unitary authority and are designed to be 'the voice of the community' to help with setting local priorities and raising local issues.
There are 18 LCNs across the county, made up of groups of Parishes. More information about what they are and how they work can be found on the Somerset Council web site.
Below you can view profiles for each of the LCNs covering basic information from the 2021 Census. We intend to create more detailed profiles in the future.
A total of 31,761 Somerset residents in 2011 were born outside the UK, half of which arrived in the last 10 years. 5,287 residents were born in Poland, more than any other country outside the British Isles. - 2011 Census
