As of 1st April 2023 Somerset Council replaced the County and 4 District Councils in Somerset. We are still working out what this means for the future of the Somerset Intelligence Partnership and this web site but in the mean time, we will continue to update it and maintain as we have been. The below information was relevant prior to the formation of the unitary authority and has been left in place for reference.
Somerset Intelligence is a partnership project funded by Somerset County Council, Somerset West & Taunton District Council, Sedgemoor District Council, Mendip District Council and South Somerset District Council.
It forms a link between the different funding organisations to help with the sharing of data and producing intelligence that may otherwise be missed when organisations work individually.
The website is managed by Somerset County Council (SCC) on behalf of the partnership.
Much of the data, information and intelligence handled and produced by Somerset Intelligence is shared on this site allowing other people and organisations to use it themselves.
Please feel free to contact us if you wish to know more about what is available on our web sites. We are also interested in speaking to other organisations interested in joining the partnership and benefit from its shared resource or who may wish to commission a specific piece of work.
